THE NEW AGE OF CONCRETE REMOVAL ZAWPIC

Our Story: From Backbreaking Work to Breakthrough Innovation

Twenty-five years ago, Noah and construction crews were spending hours upon hours jackhammering and hauling chunks of broken concrete to dumpsters. The soil beneath each slab was torn apart, and the risk of hitting underground utilities was high when scooping up those heavy chunks.

Every project demanded large crews and long days—leaving workers exhausted, sore, and facing potential injury. Not only was this a concern for worker safety and compensation, but it also drove up costs: extra labor, damaged ground, and additional dirt needed to repair the work area after removal.

Watching this cycle repeat job after job, Noah knew there had to be a better, more efficient way to remove concrete.

That thought sparked what would become years of trial, design, and hands-on innovation. In our garage, the first prototype took shape—a tool built to make concrete removal smarter, not harder. And just like that, the idea behind ZAWPIC was born.

Fast-forward twenty-five years: we—Noah and April, a husband-and-wife team—took the leap to transform that idea into a patented product. It took three years to move from prototype review to final specifications, but when the design was complete, ZAWPIC officially came to life.

Proudly made in the USA from domestic steel, ZAWPIC represents what we value most: hard work, innovation, and the determination to build a safer, more efficient future for those who do the tough jobs every day.

Cleaner. Quicker. Smarter.

The New Age of Concrete Removal.

Today, ZAWPIC is more than a tool—it’s a family-built brand rooted in the trades.  With over 27 years of construction experience, Noah continues to work as a site superintendent while our son joins him in the field, boots on the ground on job sites.  Our son-in-law is also in the trades, and our oldest daughter helps drive marketing. Our youngest is finishing her senior year but still is present to share in the excitement of what’s being built.
